Agricultural inputs can be categorized into two types, consumable and
capital inputs.
The former includes manures and fertilizers, seeds, insecticides/ pesticides, diesel oil
and electricity WHILE
on the other hand, capital inputs include tractors and trailers, harvesters and
threshers, pump sets,26 and other implements
NCU LTD does the following:-
NCU Ltd owns farms/lands with which are given to farmers who has vision of farming
but later sharing profits
Distribution of seeds and fertilizers to farmers.
Providing tractors and trailers to each AMCOS for ease in large scale farming
Distribute pesticides/insecticides to farmers farming Major crops
In harvesting period NCU LTD provide farmers with harvesters to speed up harvesting
to prevent
crops from rotting in farms.
Provision of Co-operative Education to primary society members.
